Work Experience Credit
Interested in earning high school credit for your job? You may be able to earn 0.5 - 1.0 credit.
Students can earn 0.5 credit for 180 hours of work and 1.0 credit for 360 hours for a job you are already doing. It is offered at all the high schools and no extra classes are required. The CTE course, work skills and the student High School and Beyond plan must align.
Eligibility:
1. Must be 16 years old or older
2. Currently employed during the school year. Work hours prior to completing program requirements and applying are not accepted. Hours can only be counted during the school year and after the program acceptance.
3. Have taken (and successfully passed) or are currently enrolled in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) class (List of CTE classes are within the application or found on the CTE Pathway Planning Guide)
4. Complete the requirements of the program, including forms.

** What happens after I complete the application? Check your email! You will receive an email with instructions on the next steps. The Worksite Learning Coordinator will meet with you and discuss program requirements.
