Internship Connect is a partnership between Edmonds School district and regional employers designed to offer meaningful experiences for students to explore career pathways and strengthen career skills; while providing employers the opportunity to address workforce needs. Through Internship Connect interns become focused on their career, as well as future educational options. Each internship is unique to your interests and goals.

These internships are part of the Internship Connect Program. You will need to apply directly to them. Once accepted, you are also part of the Internship Connect and receive high school credit.
UW Bothell Environmental Careers Summer Scholar - APPLICATION LINK Closes March 28, 2025
June 30-August 1 2025 10:00am - 3:00pm UWB Environmental Education and Research Center at St. Edward State Park in Kirkland. This not paid, unless you qualify for free/reduced lunch: receive a $500 stipend. All interns will receive the 3-credit.
Emerging 10th-12th grade (current 9th-11th) students are invited to apply to the University of Washington Bothell Environmental Careers Preparedness Summer Scholars Program. EnCAP is focused on preparing the next generation of students for the growing green economy by providing pathways towards environmental and sustainability degree programs through this 3-credit summer internship.
Selected summer scholars will participate in a 5-week interdisciplinary, field-based program through the month of July to learn about the range, impacts, and diversity of green career pathways in Washington State in partnership with UWB faculty and undergraduate research assistants. Participants will conduct comprehensive place-based research projects to share in a final showcase with families, UWB faculty, and community members. Parking is free for all students.
