 +  Obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
 +  Participate in a Sports Medicine practicum under the supervision of Athletic Trainers.
 +  Earn up to 6 college credits which can be applied directly into partner college programs.
 +  Meet 3rd Year Science, Health and PE requirements through their Pathway courses.

Continue Your Training After High School
The Sports Medicine Pathway articulates and leads directly into the Bellevue College Personal Fitness Trainer Certificate program.

Recent changes in state graduation requirements provides students in the class of 2020 and beyond the option to meet both the state Math and English/Language Arts Graduation Pathway requirements by completing 2 credits within an approved CTE Pathway related to their goals and interests.  

This Pathway Planning Guide introduces students to the Sports Medicine Pathway as an approved CTE Pathway and provides information on including this pathway as part of the student's 4-year plan for high school and beyond.
