 +  Develop design skills using drawing and Compuer Aided Drafting (CAD) techniques.
 +  Create "real world" architectural plans, drawings and design.
 +  Earn up to 11 college credits which can be applied directly into partner college programs.
 +  Meets Art requirements through their Pathway courses

The Architectural Design/CAD Pathway articulates and leads directly into the Lake Washington Institute of Technology Architectural Technology and Mechanical Design Technology Programs of Study.

Recent changes in state graduation requirements provides students in the class of 2020 and beyond the option to meet both the state Math and English/Language Arts Graduation Pathway requirements by completing 2 credits within an approved CTE Pathway related to their goals and interests.  

This Pathway Planning Guide introduces students to the Architectureal Design/CAD Pathway as an approved CTE Pathway and provides information on including this pathway as part of the student's 4-year plan for high school and beyond.
